RTTNews - Thursday, Poland's Central Statistical Office said the retail sales increased 1.1% year-over-year in May, compared with a 1% growth in the previous month. Economists were looking for a decline of 0.5%. A year ago, retail sales were up 15.2%.

On a monthly basis, retail sales dropped 2.1% in May, after rising 5% in April. Economists had expected a decline of 3.3%.
