Police are searching for Florida man, Paul Michael Merhige, who they suspect killed four family members at a thanksgiving dinner Thursday evening in Jupiter, Florida.

Merhige, 35, of Miami, fled the scene after killing six-year-old McKayla Sitton in her bed, Ramone Joseph, 76, and the suspected shooter's twin sisters: Carla and Lisa Merhige, 33.

Sitton is cousin of the suspect who was at the dinner with 17 attendants and left the dinner to return with the gun and start shooting.

The Jupiter Police Department is currently conducting a street-by-street assessment and working with multiple agencies in an attempt to locate the suspect, police said in a statement, the Associated Press reported.

The motive for the killings is not known.
