Canadian porn star Sunny Leone, who shot to fame in India with the Big Boss 5 reality show, is now an Indian resident.

A happy actress tweeted: I have the greatest news today everyone!!! I am officially a resident of INDIA!!!!!! Wooohoooo(sic).

Sunny is currently shooting for her debut movie in Bollywood, Jism 2, directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by former actors Pooja Bhatt and Dono Morea.

About her character in her debut movie, she told HT City, The story is about the journey of a woman who the audience will love and hate at the same time.

The film is slated to release in December this year.

Sunny arrived in India with a scandalized profession in the porn industry. However, in spite of controversies over her appearance on TV show in a relatively conservative country like India, the nation seems to have accepted her.

Sunny is also the face of the PETA campaign to support the cause of homeless dogs.

With all the fat offers in hand, Sunny has obviously found a wide horizon for her career in India.
