Porsha Williams’ divorce from former NFL player Kordell Stewart was finalized last week, and now Stewart’s friends are coming forward with allegations that his ex-wife was using him. The settlement was reached nearly a year after Stewart filed for divorce from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The couple had a prenup, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. Williams won't receive alimony, a house, health insurance, NFL retirement money or a cash out. She will be able to keep her engagement ring and other personal items. And Stewart’s friends think it’s for the best.

“She used him and took advantage of the situation in hopes that it would get her to the next level financially and professionally,” a source tells Radar Online. “Honestly, if she hadn’t been married to Kordell, she would have never landed the ‘Housewives’ gig because she had nothing else going for herself outside of him.

When [Kordell] met Porsha, she claimed to have all these jobs and opportunities going on, but she really didn’t,” the source continued. “She didn’t try to be independent from him and just wanted to be Kordell’s wife – and now she’s nobody.”

Stewart filed a divorce petition in Fulton County on March 22, 2013, nearly two years after they were married. The court document, cited by Access Atlanta, said the marriage was "irretrievably broken."

Williams, 31, said that she found out about the divorce filing through Twitter, which she checked after her sister had called her a number of times that morning when the news broke.
