MORRISVILLE, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 08/09/10 -- Global Resource Corp. (PINKSHEETS: GBRC), a developer of a patented energy-efficient renewable microwave-based technologies for recycling tires, upgrading petroleum products and converting other materials to higher value hydrocarbon-based fuels or carbon materials, today announced an agreement with GEPTEK, Inc. ("GTI") that it will allow GBRC to enter markets of the oil bi-products produced from patented technology for recycling tires. GTI is a New Jersey-based environmental/recycling company with over 10 years of by-product energy experience (www.gti-e.com).

Based upon GTI's testing of samples supplied by GBRC, GTI believes there is a major market potential for the oil by-product produced by GBRC's renewable tire recycling facilities. In addition to establishing the oil markets, GTI will play a major part in assisting GBRC with identifying key end users for GBRC's patented renewable microwave technology. According to GTI, the renewable oil produced from GBRC's facility could have a value of over $1.25 per gallon depending on the final specification of the oil produced by GBRC as well as the location of the refinery.

"This agreement provides strong confidence to our customer base that there is a solid marketplace for the oil bi-products from our process and that our green technology has clear commercial opportunity," said Mr. Ken Kinsella, CEO of Global Resource Corp. "We are pleased to have found a market for all of our oil bi-products for our future operations worldwide. Management is confident that this will assist us in marketing our technology based on the significant demand for our high valued hydrocarbon products. Based on the increasing demand in the United States for renewable oil products, we are continuing to build strong relationships that will allow us to penetrate these markets as we build future facilities. We believe that this relationship with GTI will help to create strong value for our shareholders while providing the company with a revenue annuity from our future facilities."

"We have worked with Global Resources for several years regarding their technology and sustainability efforts. GTI's core management team brings over 12 years of byproduct synergy experience to the marketplace and we believe the Global Resources/GTI joint sustainability efforts can create a strong market value for this endeavor," said Edward Russick, VP-Sales, GEPTEK, Inc.
