Final Schedule of Events Announced for the 1st Annual Lake Havasu Community Patriot Days in Lake Havasu, AZ.

FLINT, Texas, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT, http://www.avtt.org) and the Lake Havasu Hospitality Association (LHHA) have announced the finalized schedule of events for the 1st Annual Lake Havasu Patriot Days that runs from September 15 - 26, 2010. AVTT and the LHHA have joined together to create an event that celebrates freedom, American Values, promotes patriotism and demonstrates community support for those men and women who have and continue to protect and defend us. A key element to Patriot Days is our joining as a community in support of Operation Gratitude in their mission to send care packages to the troops deployed outside the United States.

There are scheduled events every day from Daily Honor ceremonies and tributes, parades, 5k runs, motorcycle rides, Mohave County Fair, Patriot Bowling, Patriotic Film Classics and much more. We are excited to present a variety of musical and comedic entertainment on the main stages throughout the event. Included are Gallagher, The McClymonts, The Chris Weaver Band, and the Ventura Girlz to name a few.

This 10 day event will be the 1st Annual LHC Patriot Days and will set a precedent for a community and national event that will not only bring people together from all over the country, but will help acknowledge that LHC is the "Most Patriotic Community in the Country". Not only will this event showcase LHC's local talent and establishments, it will also highlight the return of the AVTT, Cost of Freedom Tribute and Traveling Wall. The intent is to come together and celebrate the freedom given to us and at the same time raise money to support the mailing of care packages to our troops through Operation Gratitude. A primary goal of Patriot Days is to help Operation Gratitude reach the 100,000 package goal they set for 2010. We hope to raise sufficient funds to pay for 20,000 packages to be sent to our troops. Donations, personal letters and wish list items can be deposited in drop boxes found throughout the event.
