Eco Depot Appoints Exclusive Distributor for Mexico for LED Lighting Systems

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/12/10 -- Eco Depot, Inc. (OTCQB: ECDP) (PINKSHEETS: ECDP) today announced the completion of an exclusive distributor agreement for its advanced LED lighting products and lighting systems in Mexico.

Under the terms of the Agreement, Eco Depot S.A. de C.V. will act as sole Mexican retail and commercial distributor for all highly energy-efficient ECO DEPOT products including LED Indoor lighting panels, warehouse lighting, street and parking lighting, and a comprehensive range of green lighting solutions.

The appointment is strategic for the Company, as Mexican consumers and retailers prepare for the Mexican government legislated transition away, beginning in 2012, from energy-inefficient incandescent bulbs.

The distribution agreement specifies minimum annual purchases for Five Million US Dollars ($5,000,000 USD) per year for two years and is renewable based on the distributor's achievement of certain milestones. Management of Eco Depot S.A. de C.V. currently has influential relationships in the lighting markets and government LED retrofitting programs throughout Mexico. The relationship will be serviced by CS Tech Mexico S.A. de C.V., Eco Depot's LED Lighting manufacturing plant located in the NAFTA Industrial Zone of Northern Baja California, Mexico.
