Woolsey has over 32 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked in multiple roles including field engineer, project manager, estimator, designer and general contractor. Having served as Senior Engineer and Editor for the RS Means Company for five years from 1985-1990, Woolsey spent the last 20 years as president of the Wool-Zee Company, Inc., which he founded.

Wool-Zee, Inc. grew to become a leading provider of cost estimating services to building owners, architects, engineers, contractors and facility managers. As a part of these services Woolsey served as a senior instructor, providing over 6,000 training hours to RS Means clientele around the country.
