WASHINGTON. Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Seventy year-old former attorney Richard I. Fine is waging a legal battle from his jail cell in an effort to win his freedom. He has an extensive legal background, holding a PhD degree in International Law and having served as an Anti-Trust attorney for the Department of Justice in Washington D.C. And yet, he has been denied hearings by all the courts. The U.S. Supreme Court has denied hearing his petitions three times. He is in solitary, "Coercive Confinement" in Los Angeles County Jail indefinitely for Civil Contempt of Court following his attempt to disqualify State Superior Court Judge David P. Yaffe who admitted having taken illegal payments from a party to the case before him.

SUPERVISING JUDGES BLIND TO... OR COMPLICIT IN COURT CORRUPTION?

Continuing his relentless fight for freedom and against court corruption, Richard Fine filed "Notice" with the Presiding Judge Tim McCoy and Supervising State Superior Court Judges in Los Angeles, with a formal demand that they use their authority to declare Judge Yaffe's Orders in his case "Null and Void". He cites that Judge Yaffe has admitted in Court Testimony he was taking illegal payments from the County of Los Angeles while sitting on the bench where the County was a party to the case. (Marina Strand Colony II Homeowners v. County of Los Angeles). Ironically seventeen months later, the Judge has now overruled his own order, admitting that he himself has committed "fraud upon the court" by filing papers referring to a non-existent court order and admitting he never intended to rule that Richard Fine did not have standing to disqualify him in the case.
