The ESBC 9580-4B is an Enterprise SIP Gateway (ESG) designed for the Cable industry with an embedded DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem, an enterprise session border controller (ESBC) and a built-in TI/E1 (PRI and CAS) local interface.

The InnoMedia ESBC 9580-4B is suitable for all MSO SIP trunk offerings, with an embedded DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem capable of 8x4 channel bonding and 24 UGS SIDs. Located at the network edge, the ESBC 9580-4B enables NAT and firewall traversal, permitting VoIP traffic to enter the network while preventing unauthorized access; it serves as an ideal demarcation solution for Cable voice system operators.

The InnoMedia ESBC 9580-4B features an internal backup battery with telemetry, an external UPS port, a 4 port switch, 4FXS ports, a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem, and a built-in T1/E1 gateway. The 2 T1/E1 interfaces allow an enterprise transitioning to SIP trunks to keep its existing TDM equipment, extending MSO SIP trunk service offerings to a broader range of enterprise customers. The T1/E1 supports both ISDN PRI and CAS signaling.
