SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- World Cyber Games (WCG), organizer of the largest international video game competition and festival is looking for the 'Bob Costas of videogames' - two "shoutcasters" who know "Counter-Strike" or "Tekken 6," and can provide play-by-play commentary live at this year's WCG Grand Final in Los Angeles, CA, from September 30 to October 3.

Interested contenders can channel their inner sportscaster for a chance to win bragging rights as the WCG's Official Shoutcaster, describing the thrilling action during competitive gaming matches and appear in the WCG 2010 Grand Final's broadcast matches. The winner will also get a four-day paid trip to Los Angeles.

How to Participate:

Participating is easy. Contestants can download the available "Counter-Strike" or "Tekken 6" videos at www.wcg.com/shoutcasting and add their unique commentary. They then post the submission to the WCG YouTube channel between 12:00:01 p.m. ET on and 11:59:59 a.m. ET on August 16, 2010 through September 1, 2010, and the online community will then have the chance to vote on their favorites.

Timeline:

From Aug 16 - Sept 1, 2010, participants can begin submitting their shoutcast videos for two official game titles - "Tekken 6" and "Counter-Strike."

From Sept 1 - Sept 15, 2010, people can vote online for their favorite shoutcast submission at www.wcg.com/shoutcasting

Sept 30 - Oct 3, 2010, Winners for each game title, as determined by online vote and WCG's panel of judges, will get a chance to shoutcast the broadcast matches during the WCG 2010 Grand Final at LA Convention Center and become the new official shoutcasters for the World Cyber Games.
