GREENVILLE, S.C., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- As Greenville County students head back to school this week, nine of the best and brightest are also preparing to outsmart local celebrities on Saturday evening at the Carolina First Center in Greenville. Selected randomly from top fifth grade graduates across the district, these students will be the "class" for this weekend's school fund-raiser, "Are You Smarter Than A Greenville County Schools Fifth Grader?" The fund-raising event will be held at the Carolina First Center on Saturday, Aug. 21. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The game begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults; $6 for children 12 and under. Admission includes a hot dog supper and an evening of family fun. Underwritten by Michelin, 100 percent of all funds raised go directly to Greenville County public schools. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.HelpSmartKids.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door by cash or checks only, while they last.
