Ceddia, president of Hudson, MA-based Security Construction Services Inc. has been selected to receive the Regional Minority Small Business Person of the Year Award. She is among a select group of highly successful small business owners chosen for this prestigious award, given annually by the US Small Business Administration in collaboration with the US Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency.

With Ceddia as president, Security Construction Services has more than tripled its workforce and increased sales 800% since its inception in 2002. Despite the economic down-turn of the past few years, Security Construction Services continued to experience exponential growth in its sales and expects to earn roughly $20 million in revenue from contract awards for fiscal year 2010. The Company now has 45 employees and is considered a leader in managing construction projects for federal agencies and military installations across the Northeast.
