Waukegan, IL, November 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Waukegan Swedish Glee Club Celebrates 105 Years of song with Julmiddag

The Waukegan Swedish Glee Club, founded December 8, 1905, will celebrate its annual Julmiddag on December 12, 2010 at the Chevy Chase Country Club, 1000 N. Milwaukee Road in Wheeling. The program will begin at 3 pm with the Christmas smorgasbord following.

The program holds a mixture of best-loved holiday songs in English and Swedish.

Guest performers will be Rendition (a madrigal and vocal jazz group) from the Waukegan Public Schools.

The program is directed by Jeff DeLay and accompanied by Ruth Porikos. The Chicago Swedish Male Chorus and the Waukegan Swedish Women’s Chorus will join the Swedish Glee Club of Waukegan in song.

Tickets for Julmiddag are $40 for adults and $17 for children 12 and under. Reservations can be made by calling Jim Maurice at 312-670-9570. Deadline for ticket reservations is November 30, 2010.
