Salina, KS, August 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- An educational seminar, focused on providing manufacturers with the latest research in corrosion and recent innovations in finishing lines will be held at K-State Salina on Wednesday, August 24 at 12:30.

The first session will be presented by Dr. Vicki Gelling of North Dakota State University. Dr. Gelling will share her recent research finding into new and emerging testing techniques for coatings.

The second session will be presented by John Spangler of Caterpillar. John has spent the past 22 years in various areas within Caterpillar as it relates to finishing systems and procedures. He will discuss improvements Caterpillar is making to their finishing lines, resulting in a lean finishing system.
