Rick Honan Named to the Board of Directors of the National Portable Storage Association

The National Portable Storage Association announced the appointment of Rick Honan to the board of directors of the NPSA for a three year term. Mr. Honan currently serves as the President of American Trailer & Storage, Inc.

Kansas City, MO, November 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) formed in 2003 to represent the interests of companies and employees that rent, lease, and sell portable storage containers, storage trailers and mobile offices. These companies rent, lease, or sell to a wide range of users including the retail industry, construction industry, manufacturers, consumers, and a multitude of other industries. The NPSA provides industry professionals with effective support before local, state and federal government agencies, and furnishes a platform for the exchange of industry best practices and business opportunities through networking events, conferences and on-line media. Rick Honan brings over 12 years of experience and expertise in the portable storage industry and has served on the NPSA technology committee. Mr. Honan is President of American Trailer and Storage, Inc., (AT&S, www.atandsonline.com) a Kansas City-based equipment rental-company that serves the Kansas City, Saint Louis, Omaha and Lincoln, NE markets. Mr. Honan is also on the board of the Blue Valley Industrial Association (BViA, www.bvia.org), a business association founded in 1920 to promote the welfare of that industrial district in Kansas City. Additionally, Mr. Honan served as the President of the Kansas City Transportation Association (KCTA www.kcta.org) from 2008 to 2009. Rick’s knowledge of the industry that includes the renting of storage trailers and portable storage containers has made him a leader in the industry and will continue to grow in the future.
