According to the Government Accounting Office, 1 in 4 vehicles on the road have uncompleted recalls posing a danger to drivers, vehicle occupants, other motorists and pedestrians. Auto Safety Association of American was formed by a group of concerned citizens to help alleviate this problem. We are driven to make our roads safer.

Indiapolis, IN, January 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Pearson Ford of Zionsville had joined the Auto Safety Association of America as the exclusive Ford Motor Company center for the greater Indianapolis area.

The Auto Safety Association of America (ASA) was formed by a group of concerned citizens to facilitate auto safety and make our roads safer.

According to the Government Accounting Office (www.gao.gov) many recalled vehicles are never repaired posing a risk to their drivers, passengers, other motorists and pedestrians.

Sometimes recall notices are lost in the mail or are never seen. Sometimes when the ownership of a vehicle changes hands the recall notice never gets delivered to the current owner. Many rental car companies do not repair recalls before the vehicles are resold.

The diagnosis and repair of recalls is completely free for all vehicles 10 years old or less. All repairs are paid for by the manufacturer.

Ford, Lincoln and Mercury owners can now go to the ASA’s website www.autosafetynow.org and schedule a free vehicle recall check as well as a free vehicle safety inspection with Pearson Ford.

As a member of ASA Pearson Ford has pledged to offer every Ford, Lincoln and Mercury owner these services completely free of charge, no matter where the vehicle was purchased and whether it was purchased new or used.

Randy Bennett, Service Director of Pearson Ford has said “We are very pleased to be a member of ASA. We are always interested in serving our community and we believe that we can provide no greater service than to help make our roads safer for everyone.”

Pearson Ford is located at 1060 North Michigan Road in Zionsville. The phone number is (317) 733-6007. Pearson Ford employs Ford factory certified technicians and uses the latest in factory authorized diagnostic equipment.
