Alcatel Lucent SA (ALU) stock surged 2.90 percent to $1.42 in pre-market trading. The company announced Tuesday that Indosat, a telecommunication and information operator in Indonesia, has selected Alcatel to dramatically boost the capacity of data connections that support its mobile broadband network.

Knight Capital Group Inc. (KCG) stock surged 2.70 percent to $3.42 in pre-market trading. Getco Holding Company LLC will buy Knight Capital for about $2 billion after sweetening its offer for the equities market-making firm to beat out rival Virtu Financial LLC, Reuters reported citing people close to the deal.

Lloyds Banking Group Plc (LYG) stock gained 2.58 percent to $3.18 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $1.38, a 52-week high of $3.11 and $54.58 billion in market capitalization.

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (MLNX) stock gained 2.42 percent to $63.37 in pre-market trading. The company stock was upgraded to an “outperform” rating from a “neutral” rating by Zacks with a price target of $72.70.

Syngenta AG (SYT) stock rose 1.90 percent to $83.00 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $55.01, a 52-week high of $81.77 and $37.16 billion in market capitalization.

Oracle Corp. (ORCL) stock gained 1.86 percent to $33.49 in pre-market trading. Its second quarter net profit rose to $2.6 billion or $0.53 per share from $2.2 billion or $0.36 per share in the same period last year. Adjusted net profit was $3.1 billion or $0.64 per share, up from $2.8 billion or $0.54 per share last year and also topped Reuters estimation of $0.61 per share.

Altria Group Inc. (MO) stock advanced 1.26 percent to $33.00 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $28.00, a 52-week high of $36.29 and $66.00 billion in market capitalization.

Citigroup Inc. (C) stock gained 1.06 percent to $39.88 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $24.40, a 52-week high of $39.34 and $115.72 billion in market capitalization.

Gulfport Energy Corp. (GPOR) stock fell 1.62 percent to $38.75 in pre-market trading. The company announced Tuesday that it has priced an offering of $50 million aggregate principal amount of its 7.750 percent senior notes due 2020 at an issue price of 101.00 percent of the aggregate principal amount of the notes.
