(GS) to field potential takeover bids after clinical-trial results showed an experimental drug helped prostate-cancer patients, a Bloomberg report quoted people familiar with the matter. Exelixis has drawn interest from some large pharmaceutical companies, the report said.

KIT digital, Inc. (NASDAQ:KITD) shares surged 7.55 percent to $12.40 in pre-market trading session. The company said it has agreed to buy the entire capital stock of ioko365 Ltd for about $79.4 million, which includes future performance-based incentive payments. KIT said the acquisition will broaden its portfolio of cloud-based video management solutions.

Carnival Corp. (NYSE:CCL) shares gained 1.11 percent to $38.27 in pre-market trading session. Citadel Securities initiated coverage on Carnival with as “add” rating and set a price target of $45

Monster Worldwide Inc. (NYSE:MWW) shares advanced 1.09 percent to $16.65 in pre-market trading session.

Alcoa Inc. (NYSE:AA) shares declined 3.55 percent to $17.77in pre-market trading session as its first quarter sales missed analysts’ estimates due to weaker dollar. The New York-based aluminum producer said its first quarter sales grew 22 percent to $5.96 billion, but fell short of analysts' forecast of $6.07 billion. Earnings from continuing operations were $309 million or 27 cents a share, compared to a loss of $194 million or 19 cents a share last year.

Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) shares declined 1.4 percent to $76.62 in pre-market trading session. The stock has a 52 week low of $64.90 and 52 week high of $97.19 and has $55.38 billion market capitalization.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) shares declined 1.75 percent to $14.60 in pre-market trading session. Jefferies & Co. has a “buy” rating and a price target of $17 on Ford Motors.

Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ:ORCL) shares declined 1.58 percent to $33.25 in pre-market trading session.

Medtronic Inc. (NYSE:MDT) shares declined 1.84 percent to $39.50 in pre-market trading session. The company stock was upgraded to “outperform” rating from “market perform” rating at Wells Fargo & Co on Monday.

Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) shares declined 1.21 percent to $10.61 in pre-market trading session. The company stock was reiterated with a “neutral” rating at Zacks Investment Research.
