The company announced that for the second quarter of 2013, it expects net sales of about €1.1 billion in line with analysts’ expectation. ASML reiterated it expectation for fiscal 2013 sales at a level similar to that of fiscal 2012. 

Meru Networks Inc. (NASDAQ:MERU) stock rallied 4.63 percent to $7.01 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $1.42, a 52-week high of $6.95 and $147.82 million in market capitalization.

Pan American Silver Corp. (NASDAQ:PAAS) stock gained 2.69 percent to $12.97 in pre-market trading, after losing 2.85 percent in regular trading Tuesday as gold prices rebound from its sharp fall in two years, early Wednesday.

Trina Solar Limited (NYSE:TSL) stock rose 1.26 percent to $4.01 in pre-market trading Wednesday after gaining over 2 percent in regular trading Tuesday.

Carnival Corporation (NYSE:CCL) stock advanced 1.08 percent to $33.81 in pre-market trading.  The shares have a 52-week low of $30.065, a 52-week high of $39.95 and $26.90 billion in market capitalization.

Eldorado Gold Corp. (NYSE:EGO) stock gained over 1 percent to $7.05 in pre-market trading. The shares have a 52-week low of $6.74, a 52-week high of $16.20 and $4.97 billion in market capitalization.

Losers

Cirrus Logic Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS) stock declined 10.74 percent to $19.11 in pre-market trading. The company said it expects to record a significant inventory reserve charge in the fourth quarter and that its margins for the period will be weaker-than-expected. For the first quarter, Cirrus expects revenues in the range of $150 million to $170 million, below analysts' estimate of $195 million. The company expects its margins to return to the range of 50% to 52% in the first quarter.

ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) stock dropped 3.35 percent to $11.54 in pre-market trading. The company stock has a 52-week low of $11.59, a 52-week high of $18.10 and $18.50 billion in market capitalization.

Rio Tinto Plc. (NYSE:RIO) stock tumbled 3.02 percent to $44.29 in pre-market trading. The mining giant’s shares rose about 2 percent in regular trading Tuesday after it reported higher iron ore production and shipments in the first quarter.

BHP Billiton Plc. (NYSE:BBL) stock lost 3.01 percent to $55.18 in pre-market trading. The company stock gained more than 3 percent in regular trading Tuesday.
