Golar LNG, Xyratex Ltd, Silvercorp Metals, Silver Wheaton, Seagate Technology, Western Digital Corp, Banco Santander SA and eBay Inc. are among the companies whose shares are moving in pre-market trading Friday.

Golar LNG Ltd. (GLNG) stock surged 3.97 percent to $38.79 in pre-market trading. The company announced Friday that it has been awarded the Gas Atacama Mejillones Seaport's FSRU Project (Gas Atacama). The initial term of the contract is for 15 or 20 years and is expected to generate an average annual EBITDA of approximately $48 million for the 15-year charter or $47 million for the 20-year charter.

Xyratex Ltd. (XRTX) stock gained 2.82 percent to $12.05 in pre-market trading. The company swung to second quarter net profit of $7 million or $0.24 per share compared to loss of $4.6 million or $0.15 per share in the same period a year ago.

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (SVM) stock rose 1.35 percent to $6.00 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $4.89, a 52-week high of $12.12 and $1.01 billion in market capitalization.

Silver Wheaton Corp. (SLW) stock gained 1.06 percent to $28.55 in pre-market trading. The company announced that it would release 2012 second quarter earnings after the markets close Thursday, August 9.

Seagate Technology Plc. (STX) stock plunged 3.43 percent to $24.22 in pre-market trading after lowering its fourth quarter revenue and margin guidance. The company currently expects fourth quarter revenue to be approximately $4.5 billion and adjusted gross margin to be about 33.6 percent, down from its prior estimation of $5 billion revenue and adjusted gross margin of at least 34.5 percent.

Western Digital Corp. (WDC) stock declined 2.22 percent to $30.00 in pre-market trading after its competitor Seagate Technology cut its fourth quarter revenue and margin guidance.

Banco Santander SA (SAN) stock fell 2.06 percent to $6.18 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $5.19, a 52-week high of $11.69 and $52.27 billion in market capitalization.

eBay Inc. (EBAY) stock fell 1.05 percent to $40.50 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $26.86, a 52-week high of $43.94 and $52.85 billion in market capitalization.
