Gainers

Harvest Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:HNR) stock climbed 6.74 percent to $5.70 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $4.85, a 52-week high of $10.83 and $210.53 million in market capitalization.

Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE:DB) stock gained 1.58 percent to $44.99 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $27.03, a 52-week high of $53.12 and $41.01 billion in market capitalization.

Telefonica S.A. (NYSE:TEF) stock advanced 1.30 percent to $14.02 in pre-market trading. Analysts at JPMorgan upgraded shares of Telefonica Monday to “overweight” rating from “neutral” rating.

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) stock gained 1.56 percent to $27.95 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $17.55, a 52-week high of $45.00 and $65.56 billion in market capitalization.

Losers

AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ:AVAV) stock tumbled 23.93 percent to $16.50 in pre-market trading. Its third quarter net profit declined to $3.9 million or $0.17 per share from $5.7 million or $0.26 per share in the same period last year. Currently, AeroVironment expects fiscal 2013 net profit to be in a range of $0.30 to $0.50 per share on revenues of $230 to $250 million, sharply lower from its prior estimation of $1.41 to $1.51 per share on revenues of $348 to $370 million and also fell short of analysts’ estimation or net profit of $1.45 per share on revenues of $352.5 million.

Sohu.com Inc. (NASDAQ:SOHU) stock plunged 5.57 percent to $46.12 in pre-market trading. Sohu.com denied a media report Wednesday that the company is talking to investment banks and private equity funds about a possible plan to take the company private.

MGIC Investment Corp. (NYSE:MTG) stock plunged 3.18 percent to $5.17 in pre-market trading. The company announced Tuesday that it has commenced a public offering of 135 million shares of its common stock and $350 million aggregate principal amount of its convertible senior notes due 2020.

Logitech International SA (NASDAQ:LOGI) stock declined 2.34 percent to $6.67 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $6.59, a 52-week high of $11.47 and $1.08 billion in market capitalization.

J.C. Penney Co, Inc. (NYSE:JCP) stock declined 1 percent to $14.81 in pre-market trading. The company stock slumped more than 10 percent in regular trading Tuesday amid reports that Penney’s second biggest shareholder Vornado Realty Trust sold almost half its stake in the struggling department store operator.
