NIKE Inc. (NYSE:NKE) stock climbed 8.21 percent to $58.00 in pre-market trading. The company reported third quarter income from continuing operations of $662 million or $0.73 per share, up from $560 million or $0.61 per share reported in the same period last year and also topped Reuters' estimate of $0.67 per share.

Parametric Sound Corp. (NASDAQ:PAMT) stock climbed 7.92 percent to $19.22 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $0.87, a 52-week high of $18.80 and $114.15 million in market capitalization.

Finisar Corp. (NASDAQ:FNSR) stock surged 5.13 percent to $14.35 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $10.95, a 52-week high of $20.54 and $1.28 billion in market capitalization.

BP Plc. (NYSE:BP) stock surged 3.23 percent to $42.21 in pre-market trading. The company announced Friday that it intends to buy back up to $8 billion of its common stock to return to shareholders an amount equivalent to the value of the company’s original investment in TNK-BP joint venture. The announcement comes just one day after BP completed the sale of its 50 percent stake in TNK-BP to Russia's state-controlled oil producer Rosneft.

AstraZeneca Plc. (NYSE:AZN) stock gained 1.54 percent to $48.69 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $39.72, a 52-week high of $50.14 and $59.79 billion in market capitalization.

Losers

Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc. (NASDAQ:FRGI) stock tumbled 7.32 percent to $22.78 in pre-market trading. The company announced the pricing of a secondary public offering of 2,900,000 shares of common stock at a price of $24.25 per share. The offering was upsized from the previously announced offering size of 2,500,000.

Harmony Gold Mining Co. (NYSE:HMY) stock declined 2.11 percent to $6.48 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $5.82, a 52-week high of $11.30 and $2.88 billion in market capitalization.

Frontline Ltd. (NYSE:FRO) stock fell 1.79 percent to $2.19 in pre-market trading. The company stock climbed nearly 8 percent in regular trading Thursday.
