The company stock rallied nearly 14 percent in regular trading Wednesday after it was upgraded to "buy" rating from "hold" rating at Gabelli. Earlier this week, Molycorp announced the start-up of its new Project Phoenix heavy rare earth concentrate facilities at Mountain Pass, Calif.
