StemCells Inc. (STEM) stock rallied 22.12 percent to $2.65 in pre-market trading. The company announced Monday that the interim six-month data from the first patient cohort in the Company's Phase I/II clinical trial of its proprietary HuCNS-SC(R) product candidate for chronic spinal cord injury continues to demonstrate a favorable safety profile and shows considerable gains in sensory function in two of the three patients compared to pre-transplant baselines.

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (TSEM) stock climbed 6.96 percent to $8.45 in pre-market trading. The company won a new five-year contract with its customer Vishay Siliconix. Under the terms of agreement, Tower will manufacture two Vishay Siliconix product families at TowerJazz's Japanese facility (Fab 4) as well as multiple Vishay Siliconix product families at TowerJazz's Fabs 1 and 2 in Migdal HaEmek, Israel.

Nokia Corp. (NOK) stocks climbed 6.03 percent to $2.99 in pre-market trading. Nokia Siemens Networks, a telecom equipment joint venture between Nokia Corp. and Siemens AG, announced Tuesday that Turkish State Railway is working with the company and Thales Spain to upgrade its Global System for Mobile Communications– Railway (GSM-R) infrastructure for the rail line between Eskisehir and Ankara.

Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (BUD) stock surged 3.50 percent to $87.13 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $49.08, a 52-week high of $84.65 and $134.65 billion in market capitalization.

Telefonica S.A. (TEF) stock surged 3.11 percent to $12.95 in pre-market trading. Vodafone Group Plc, Telefonica’s O2 and Everything Everywhere Ltd. are set to win unconditional European Union approval for a joint venture to create a UK mobile-phone payment system, Bloomberg reported citing two people familiar with the decision.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals Inc. (VRX) stock surged 2.40 percent to $52.50 in pre-market trading. Valeant and Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp. announced Monday that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Valeant will acquire all of the outstanding common stock of Medicis for $44.00 per share in cash.

Banco Santander S.A. (SAN) stock gained 2.13 percent to $7.19 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $4.88, a 52-week high of $9.32 and $66.42 billion in market capitalization.
