Shares of China Recycling Energy Corp (CREG) advanced 15.13 percent to $3.50 in the pre-market trading,

Affymetrix Inc. (AFFX) stock jumped 10.87 percent to $5.20 in the pre-market session, following its fourth quarter revenue guidance. The company expects to generate positive operating income and net income on a GAAP basis for the fourth-quarter. The company also expects fourth quarter revenue to be about $85 million and includes a $4.8 million milestone payment from a Powered by Affymetrix diagnostic partner.

Affymetrix said it has repurchased an additional $53 million face value of 3.5 percent convertible notes and expects to have a year-end net cash balance of about $140 million. The company also said it introduced the Axiom Genome-Wide BOS 1 Array, which has 34 percent higher genetic coverage than the current leading array owing to its unique design.

Shares of Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU) surged 9.90 percent to $73.90 in the pre-market trading, following its lift to fourth quarter guidance. The company raised its fourth quarter earnings guidance to range of 55 cents to 57 cents a share from previous forecast of 46 cents to 48 cents a share. The company increased its revenue outlook to range of $237 million to $239 million from previous range of $210 million to $215 million. Analysts expect profit of 49 cents a share on revenue of $221.33 million.

Lululemon now anticipates fourth quarter comparable-store sales to reflect a mid- to upper-twenties percentage increase on a constant-dollar basis, compared to its previous guidance of high teens comparable-store sales.

A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd. (APWR) stock gained 8.20 percent to $6.20 in the pre-market session, following its two construction contracts in China. The company has agreed with Yingkou Tesco Real Estate Co., Ltd., for a construction project valued at about $13.6 million. Further, the company's unit signed a $43 million engineering, procurement, and construction contract with China Resources Land Limited.

Yingkou Tesco Real Estate's project includes decoration, air conditioning and ventilation, fire system, and electrical and power substation construction. In the China Resources Land deal, the company would develop the Oak Bay real estate project, which is located on Baishan Road in the Yuhong district of the city of Shenyang, China.

Sequenom Inc. (SQNM) stock rose 6.82 percent to $8.30 in the pre-market trading.

Shares of LeCroy Corp. (LCRY) rose 6.40 percent to $13.30 in the pre-market session, following its increase to second quarter revenue guidance. The company raised its second quarter revenue outlook to about $45 million from previous forecast of $42 million to $43 million, while analysts expect $42.30 million. For the third quarter, the company anticipates strong orders and revenue to be roughly equivalent to the current second quarter at around $45 million, while analysts project $41.50 million.

Losers

Illumina Inc. (ILMN) stock lost 1.69 percent to $66.20 in the pre-market session, following its lower-than-expected fourth quarter earnings guidance. The company expects fourth quarter adjusted profit of 28 cents to 29 cents a share and revenue of about $260 million. Analysts expect profit of 31 cents a share on revenue of $247.57 million.

Illumina expects fiscal 2010 adjusted earnings of $1.05 to $1.06 a share and revenue of about $901 million, while analysts project profit of $1.06 a share on revenue of $888.01 million. The company anticipates fiscal 2011 adjusted earnings of $1.40 a share and about 20 percent revenue growth from expected 2010 revenue, while Street expect $1.44 a share on revenue of $1.09 billion.
