Gainers

Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) stock grew 6.63 percent to $2.09 in the pre-market trading.

Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (SVA) stock gained 5.80 percent to $3.10 in the pre-market trading.

Jos. A Bank Clothiers Inc. (JOSB) stock increased 5.25 percent to $49.75 in the pre-market trading. Profit for the second quarter was $20.6 million or $0.74 per share, up from $16.5 million or $0.59 per share last year. Sales grew 22.4 percent to $230.7 million. Analysts had expected profit of $0.68 per share on revenue of $209.72 million. Comparable store sales increased 14.7 percent.

Silicom Ltd. (SILC) stock increased 4.93 percent to $14.90 in the pre-market trading. The company announced a significant Design Win with the security services subsidiary of one of the world’s largest server manufacturers, a Fortune 100 company. This Design Win for Silicom’s Ethernet multi-port server adapters has already started generating firm orders, and is expected to contribute revenues that will ramp up to about $1 million per year. In parallel, the customer has begun evaluating additional Silicom products, including 10Gbps cards, intelligent products and SETAC-based solutions. These activities, coupled with the sheer size of this customer, lead Silicom to believe that the relationship represents the potential for a continuous strong flow of additional Design Wins in the future.

Corinthian Colleges Inc. (COCO) stock rose 4.85 percent to $2.38 in the pre-market trading.

Losers

LTX-Credence Corp. (LTXC) stock plunged 16.79 percent to $5.50 in the pre-market trading. Profit for the fourth quarter was $12.08 million or $0.24 per share, down from $13.7 million or $0.27 per share last year. Sales fell to $62.67 million from $73.16 million. Analysts had expected profit of $0.28 per share on revenue of $65.67 million. Looking ahead into the first quarter, the company expects adjusted loss of $0.06 to $0.10 per share and revenue of $35 million to $39 million, while Street predicts profit of $0.32 per share on revenue of $70.18 million.

DryShips, Inc. (DRYS) stock fell 8.52 percent to $2.90 in the pre-market trading. Loss for the second quarter was $114.1 million or $0.33 per share, compared to a profit of $19.5 million or $0.07 per share last year. Excluding infrequently occurring and non-cash items, adjusted earnings for the latest quarter were $17.4 million or $0.04 per share. Revenue was $224.02 million, compared to $224.24 million last year. Analysts had expected profit of $0.17 per share on revenue of $258.37 million.

TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. (TQNT) stock declined 3.80 percent to $7.85 in the pre-market trading.

Vodafone Group plc (VOD) stock moved down 0.71 percent to $26.39 in the pre-market trading.

News Corp. (NWSA) stock moved down 0.70 percent to $17 in the pre-market trading.
