Shares of Qiao Xing Universal Resources, Inc. (XING) advanced 22.64 percent to $3.63 in the pre-market trading. The company said its unit has placed the winning bid and completed the acquisition of a 34.53 percent equity interest in Chifeng Aolunhua Mining Co., Ltd. ('Aolunhua') for $28 million from a local Chinese government agency. The company posted presentation regarding newly acquired 'Aolunhua' copper-molybdenum mine on its corporate website.

Glu Mobile, Inc. (GLUU) stock jumped 8.56 percent to $2.41 in the pre-market session. The company announced at CES a strategic partnership with NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA). Losers

Shares of Tekelec (TKLC) lost 4.25 percent to $11.50 in the pre-market session. The company said its president and chief executive officer Frank Plastina has stepped down, with his resignation effective Jan. 4. He will serve in a consulting role to the company through February 2011. The company appointed Krish Prabhu as interim chief executive officer.

Tekelec lowered its full year 2010 adjusted earnings guidance to range of 62 cents to 67 cents a share from previous forecast of 75 cents to 80 cents a share. The company reduced its revenue outlook to range of $415 million to $425 million from previous range of $430 million to $440 million. Analysts expect earnings of 79 cents a share on revenue of $436.78 million.

Logitech International SA (LOGI) stock fell 2.66 percent to $17.94 in the pre-market trading. The company said its flagship Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 is now Mac-compatible. The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 is available in U.S., Europe and Asia for a suggested retail price of $99.99.

Shares of ASML Holding NV (ASML) declined 2.62 percent to $36.41 in the pre-market session.

Siliconware Precision Industries Co. Ltd. (SPIL) stock decreased 1.85 percent to $5.88 in the pre-market trading.
