After breaking an all-time iPhone sales record of a whopping 4 million in the first weekend after launch in US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK on October14, 2011; Apple as promised is all set to launch iPhone 4S in 22 new countries by the end of October. The specified markets are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.


Latest reports indicate that the online ordering system for Apple Inc. in the 22 new countries has been updated with the iPhone 4S pre-ordering pages. An estimated shipping time of 1-2 weeks has been listed depending on the country- a few countries including Slovenia, The Netherlands Mexico, Czech Republic is an indication that Apple Inc. is going through a grueling session to keep pace with the increasing demand.

Apple iPhone now has its presence in 105 countries across 130 carriers. So almost three-quarters of the country still awaits the new iPhone 4S, which in spite of initial criticism has managed to pull out a record first weekend sale. Moreover, the path-breaking addition of Siri in iPhone 4S and the iCloud in iOS 5 amongst other features has indeed been the icing on the cake.

So, how long do people in the rest of the iPhone raving world have to wait for the iPhone 4S? It is highly anticipated that Apple will look into diminishing the widening gap of iPhone release dates across the countries.
