Gold Settles .80 Cents Lower ... ($1562.60)

Today's June Gold futures traded a very quiet and choppy $20.80 range as traders and investors alike are eyeing tomorrow's economic data particularly the Unemployment data.

Today's Initial Jobless Claims was 10,000 worse than last week's data. The Initial Jobless Claims number was 383,000 well above the 370,000 that had been projected. It is my opinion that many traders were trading very conservatively today and possibly liquidating positions as a poor Unemployment number may resurrect speculation that the FOMC will support more easing...June Gold traded as high as $1572.60 and as low as $1551.80.

July Crude Oil traded as low as $85.86 per barrel today...
