Pregnant ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Peta Murgatroyd Celebrates Birthday, May Have Revealed Baby’s Gender

Peta Murgatroyd’s beautiful birthday cake could be holding a huge clue about the gender of her baby. Murgatroyd and her fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy announced last month that they were expecting their first child together, but have not revealed whether their little bundle of joy is a boy or girl.

On Friday, the “Dancing With the Stars” pro and her beau celebrated her 30th birthday and Murgatroyd shared a photo of her three-tiered cake on Instagram. The delicious-looking bakery treat had the words “I love you both” and “Happy 30th Peta” written in blue icing and a pair of blue baby shoes on it, causing speculation that the couple will be welcoming a baby boy in the near future.

So far, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy have not confirmed the rumor but the 36-year-old ballroom dancer did take a moment to welcome his future wife into her 30s. “Happy birthday @petamurgatroyd,” he captioned a photo of them posing in front of a mirror. “I can’t wait to tell our kids stories about these pictures and I don’t know how you manage to get hotter every day, but I am infinitely more attracted to you now then ever before! And 30s are so much better than 20s! trust me… I know #dirtythirtyneverlookedbetter.”

News first broke in May that Murgatroyd was pregnant — shortly after her Season 22 win with partner Nyle DiMarco — but she and Chmerkovskiy didn’t confirm the news until July when he shared a sonogram photo on Instagram. “Put your hand up if you’re a #babyChmerkovskiy and you can’t wait to drive your parents crazy! #cantwait #inlove #thatprofilethough,” he captioned the image.

Last month, Murgatroyd opened up about her pregnancy telling People magazine that she was looking forward to having the baby be the center of her world. “I can’t wait to provide this baby with the tools to become a beautiful, kind person,” Chmerkovskiy added. “And they’ll have the best sneaker collection.”
