Pregnant Kim Kardashian is embracing her new body. The mother of North West showed off her burgeoning baby bump in a cropped top Tuesday and she doesn’t plan on ditching her signature look anytime soon, an insider told Hollywood Life in an exclusive report Thursday.

It’s not that lounge-around-the-house clothes aren’t comfortable, but she really cares about her self-esteem. “Even if she’d rather just hang around in sweats, she forces herself to get dressed up because it gives her more confidence. Kim has never felt good in baggy clothes and besides she doesn’t think women should have to hide their bodies when they’re pregnant,” the insider said.

Another reason she doesn’t want to get rid of her sexy attire is because she doesn’t like maternity clothes. “Kim is going to be dressing sexy for as long as she can do it,” the source added.

There aren’t any complaints from husband Kanye West. He’s a fan of her spicy pregnancy style. “He tells her she’s beautiful and sexy all day long and he even kisses her little baby bump,” an insider said.

Kardashian may also be clutching her sexy attire because she was widely “fat-shamed” when she was pregnant with North over two years ago. When she wore a flowered dress to the 2013 Met Gala, she was compared to the famous SeaWorld orca “Shamu” and to Robin Williams' character Mrs. Doubtfire.

While she was being criticized, sister Khloe Kardashian had her back. "I find it disturbing that society loves to critique a woman's shape," she said in a blog post at the time, according to Us Weekly. "That is low in and of itself, but I cannot tolerate one more vicious attack on my sister!"
