The Leading Physicians of the World and the International Association of Healthcare Professionals are proud to announce Charles Lawson, MD, to a new standard of leading physicians as a result of his exceptional success in health care and the community.  Having nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Lawson has continually demonstrated the commitment, excellence, and passion for patient care necessary to be considered among the best during his years in practice.

Dr. Lawson received his education and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in 1983.  He carried out his internship and residency at the Universities Hospital branch; which educates more healthcare professionals than any health-related institution in the State of Texas, and features the nation’s seventh-largest medical school.  His experiences there were the perfect stepping stone to the inspiring work does in Missouri today.

Dr. Lawson presently works at The Kneibert Clinic in Missouri; as well as dedicating his spare time to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.  Poplar Bluff has been accredited by the Joint Commission, Carf International, and the Commission on Cancer Programs; making the Medical Center a vital institution to the heart of rural Southeast Missouri’s communities.  Dr. Lawson is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Missouri State Medical Society.  Through his dedication and involvement in the medical field he has lectured locally on influenza and QT interval prolongation from drug therapy.
