Mr. Ford is a barrister, arbitrator, mediator, and an adjudicator under the Security of Payment legislation. For over 20 years he has been a lawyer, serving as partner in a leading law firm, head of  the dispute resolution division of one of the Big Four Australian Banks for four States, and special counsel for a national construction company resolving multi-million dollar disputes, including managing large arbitrations. Cameron currently provides assistance to corporations in establishing, developing, and managing a pro-active in-house legal department, protecting the company, the directors, executives, employees and the lawyers themselves from breaching the law.

During his collegiate career, Cameron earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Queensland, Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Melbourne. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and an Associate Member of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre. Mr. Ford is also the founding editor of the Australian Capital Territory Law Reports, the editor of the Northern Territory Law Reports, the executive editor of the Northern Territory Law Journal, an editor of the Australian Insurance Law Bulletin, and editor of the standard text Family Provision in Australia.
