The Season 4 finale of “Pretty Little Liars” is finally here, and fans are excited because in episode 24, “A is for Answers.”

As we previously reported, episode 24 of the ABC Family series will find the girls discovering what happened to Alison DiLaurentis the night she “died”/went missing. Aria, Emily, Spencer and Hanna will finally come face-to-face with their former best friend and clear up all the questions and mystery surrounding that September night. But the season finale synopsis teases that with their “newfound knowledge of Ali’s long-held secrets, can Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer help Alison figure out who ‘A’ is?”

“Pretty Little Liars” viewers will have to hold tight until “A is for Answers” premieres on March 18. However, we’ve compiled a list of clues and hints for the “biggest” and “most secretive” season finale of “Pretty Little Liars” to date:

1. Hanna’s Got a Gun

Hanna has had a gun in her hand before, but never with the intent of killing someone. However, in a spoiler photo leaked on TV Line, the blonde gal appears to be ready to pull the trigger. But who is the gun pointing at? And does Hanna really have what it takes to shoot someone?

2. Who Buried Alison?

Over the past couple of seasons, “Pretty Little Liars” fans have learned bits and pieces about the night Alison “died.” At the beginning of Season 4, we learned that she was definitely buried, but that Mrs. Grunwald pulled her out of the ground and brought her to the hospital. Recently, Spencer experienced a flashback that placed her in the woods with Alison that night … chasing her with a shovel and ultimately hitting someone over the head with it.

Was Spencer the one that buried Alison? Fans may not find out who tried to kill her, but the person who buried her will be uncovered.

3. Mrs. DiLaurentis’ Role

Initially viewed as a grieving mother, Mrs. DiLaurentis’ recent actions have lead viewers and the Liars to grow suspicious. In episode 23, Jason revealed that his mother knew someone was bullying Alison under the alias of “A” and that she believed Spencer was behind the messages. Showrunner Marlene King revealed to TV Line that Ali’s mom is “a part of what happened the night Ali went missing as well as the present-day story.”

4. Ali And Ezra

Ezria shippers may not be happy about this. After speculating that Ezra was “A,” viewers were relieved when the Rosewood English teacher explained that he had simply dated Ali and was writing a true-life crime novel. The news broke Ezra and Aria shippers in two, but some fans still had hope that the couple could repair their relationship. However, new information about Ezra and Ali might derail a reunion between Ezra and Aria.

“The finale will reveal how and where they met, and what their relationship really was,” King explained to TV Line. “There’s something that happens when they meet that makes it very interesting. You may be surprised by who the hunter was and who the hunted was.”

5. The Return Of Familiar Faces

Episode 23 found Jason and Ella returning to Rosewood, and in episode 24 a couple of other familiar faces will appear. Photos from the Season 4 finale show Noel interacting with Alison and the girls -- but in what capacity is unknown. The second familiar face to reappear is Melissa, Spencer’s sister. The eldest Hastings gal will be featured in present day and flashbacks (presumably to the night that Alison “died).

Fans will also be reunited with Ian, who we know was with Alison the night she died thanks to a video clip sent by “A.” Ian has been dead for a couple of seasons now, which means that he’ll be reappearing in the form of a flashback.

6. The Addition Of A Fifth Pretty Little Liar

King dished to TV Guide that after the Season 4 finale, Alison will definitely be alive in the town of Rosewood. “[Season 5] feels like a whole new show because there are five Pretty Little Liars now,” she explained. “It’s going to affect them all individually. It’s going to affect them as a group. It’s going to affect their relationships with their young male and female partners … welcoming [Alison] back won’t be as easy as it should be.”

The Season 4 finale of “Pretty Little Liars,” episode 24, will air on ABC Family on March 18 at 8 p.m. EDT. What do you think will happen in “A is for Answers”? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
