WHO IS RED COAT?!

That’s what “Pretty Little Liars” fans have been dying to know for a couple of seasons now. Fortunately for fans of the show, the hit ABC Family series is ready to expose the secret in the summer finale, episode 12, “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t.”

Through posters and videos, the series has teased that “the biggest reveal yet is coming” … and Aria’s Lucy Hale confirmed it in a recent interview with TV Guide. The 24-year-old starlet explained that the upcoming episode will “reveal who Red Coat is.”

“Whoever Red Coat is, whoever ‘A’ is, he or she doesn’t like to be messed with,” Hale said. “Once we one-up him or her and play along with the game, what’s freaking he or she out is that we’re playing the game, and we’re playing it right.” In “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t” the girls will end up in (spooky) neighboring town Ravenswood. Believing Alison to be alive, the foursome are “on the lookout for this magician who they think is a clue that will lead them to Ali.” But in usual fashion, they’ll run into some trouble when Aria gets involved in one of the magician’s tricks … and vanishes.

As we previously reported, episode 12 will also see the return of CeCe Drake -- one of the main “A” suspects. In episode 10 viewers learned a little bit more about the blonde trouble maker when Aria went to search for her in Philadelphia … but instead found CeCe’s old roommate. The girl revealed that CeCe was kicked out of school because of Alison, and she hated Aria and her friends (or “She-devils” as she called them).

If that weren't suspicious enough, Alison’s mother, Mrs. DiLaurentis, told the girls a frightening story about CeCe and Alison’s “toxic” relationship. As Mrs. DiLaurentis explained, CeCe and Alison used to share everything -- including personalities. One night before Alison’s death, Mrs. DiLaurentis got a phone call from Radley saying that her daughter had tried hurting herself and was locked up. But when Mrs. DiLaurentis got to Radley, she didn’t find Alison, but CeCe wearing Alison’s clothes and acting like her.

And while Mrs. DiLaurentis may seem innocent enough, Alison’s Sasha Pieterse told Us Weekly’s special “Pretty Little Liars” print edition that she can’t be trusted.

“[Ali’s] mom actually has some dark secrets of her own, which end up tying in to Ali,” Pieterse said.

New season four episodes of “Pretty Little Liars” air on Tuesdays on ABC Family at 8 p.m. You can catch the summer finale when it premieres on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. Who do you think Red Coat will be revealed to be in episode 12, “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t”?
