Pretty Little Liars
Secrets involving Emily (Shay Mitchell), Aria (Lucy Hale) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) will be exposed in episode 16 of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6. Freeform

Home, sweet Rosewood. Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) already wish that they never returned to Rosewood, and episode 16 of Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars” will only make their situation worse.

Last Tuesday Aria and Spencer broke into Sara’s (Dre Davis) hotel room at The Radley to search for the golf club that was allegedly used to kill Charlotte (Vanessa Ray). While the girls didn’t find the murder weapon, they did find something much spookier: a hidden room. Sara specifically requested that hotel room because it was the same one that Charlotte stayed in before the sanitarium was turned into a swanky hotel. Sara seems to have created a hole in her closet that appeared to lead into the basement of the building. “Pretty Little Liars” fans didn’t get to see where it leads to, but that will change this week in episode 16, titled “Where Somebody Waits For Me.”

According to the synopsis, a new discovery will be made in the investigation of Charlotte’s murder. The promo video for episode 16 seems to hint that it has to do with the murder weapon. In the video, Emily tells Alison (Sasha Pieterse) that her sister was killed with a golf club. However, Alison has news for them.

“No, it wasn’t,” she tells her friends.

“Are we getting punk'd?” Emily asks Spencer.

This new “A” might not actually have any dirt on the Liars, but they’re still suspects. Detective Tanner (Roma Maffia) is back, and she’s just as suspicious of Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer as she was five years ago when she was investigating the fake murder of Mona (Janel Parrish). She confronts Emily at the coffee shop, telling her that no murders took place while she and her friends were out of town.

“But when everybody gets together…” Tanner adds.

Does she truly believe that the Liars are responsible for Charlotte’s death? Or will she catch on that they’re being cyberbullied again?

Whatever the case may be, the girls are still hiding secrets. The episode description continues that “the truth” about their personal lives will begin to come out.

What could they possibly be hiding? “Pretty Little Liars” viewers will find out when episode 16 airs on Freeform Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
