Pile in the party limo -- it’s time for prom on “Pretty Little Liars”! Last week, viewers learned that Rosewood High School banned the girls from attending for security reasons, but that’s not going to stop them from having the best night of their high-school lives in episode 9.

According to the synopsis, the school is pretty set on keeping Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) off the grounds for prom. While the girls see it as a “final humiliating blow,” their families have a plan to let them finish high school with the traditional rite of passage. The synopsis teases that their mothers gather to throw them a “home prom” in Spencer’s barn. Nothing can go wrong in the barn, right?

The episode description for “Last Dance” reveals that the girls -- although reluctant at first -- will go along with their “home prom” and try to “make the best out of a bad situation.” But they have no idea how bad things can get. The synopsis adds that Charles DiLaurentis has plans to make their prom night one that they will “never forget.”

What could Charles possibly have up his sleeves? “Pretty Little Liars” viewers can’t forget that episode 8 concluded with Charles taking a tux out of a limo and placing needles in the trunk of the vehicle. When he got inside the limo, the window rolled down to reveal Red Coat behind the wheel. She handed him two tickets to Rosewood High’s prom.

Based on the needles, it looks like he’s aiming to drug the girls and kidnap them again. But if that is the plan, where will he take them? His “Dollhouse” is no longer safe after the police raided it this season.

Fans can watch the prom drama unfold when episode 9 of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 airs on ABC Family Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 8 p.m. EDT.
