“Pretty Little Liars” fans are desperate for answers, and it looks like this summer they’ll finally get some. After five seasons of being tormented by “A,” the first promo video for Season 6 of the ABC Family series promises some big reveals for dedicated viewers.

The trailer, titled “Game On, Charles,” comes courtesy of TV Line. The title is a reference to the game-changing piece of information that was unveiled in the Season 5 finale – “A” is actually a man named “"Charles" (aka Jason's [Drew Van Acker] twin brother?!). Unfortunately the video doesn’t tease anything about the escape of the Liars. Instead, it looks like Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Mona (Janel Parrish) are still locked up with their tormentor. To make matters worse, it appears as if Mona’s stunt to help the Liars escape backfired … because she’s rocking back and forth alone in a cell.

Fans will remember that Mona turned up alive in “A’s” house of horrors. However when the Liars found her, she was calling herself “Alison.” It was revealed that Charles had been torturing and attempting to brain wash her into believing she was Alison (Sasha Pieterse). Mona even had her hair dyed the same color blonde. The Liars eventually found out that Mona had been putting on a front to keep Charles happy – but her façade crumbled when she tried to escape during the fake prom that Charles setup.

Besides Mona in solitude, the video also features Spencer yelling “no” in fear and Aria discovering a note carved into the wall from Mona: “He’s going to kill me – M.” It doesn’t look like the liars are getting out of “A’s” grasp anytime soon, but they might have new roommates. Charles appears to be watching Alison and Toby (Keegan Allen) as well. The promo ends with the hashtag: "#SummerOfAnswers."

“Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 premieres on ABC Family on June 2 at 8 p.m. EDT. What do you think of the new promo video? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
