Brad Pitt's much anticipated new film, The Tree of Life debuts at Cannes on Monday and it looks like it's going to be a visual masterpiece.

The film is up for the festivals Palme d'Or, along with 19 other films.

The film depicts 1950s childhood in suburbia and the duality of seperate childrearing methods.

The film stars Pitt and Sean Penn. Penn will also be at Cannes with This Must Be The Place.
