Prince Nicolas of Sweden is growing up fast. His mother Princess Madeleine took to Facebook and shared an adorable picture of the baby on Saturday. The nine-month-old prince was born in June, just a couple of days after the wedding of his uncle Prince Carl Philip to Princess Sofia.

“Time is flying, can’t believe my sweet Nicolas is 9 months!” the 33-year-old Madeleine captioned a picture of baby Nicolas on Facebook. The doting mother delighted fans with a new photo of her baby boy. The picture has got 68K likes and 2K comments.

In the new picture Nicolas appears to wear a white shirt with a Peter Pan collar and a blue cardigan. He sits on a white couch and looks upwards with his bright blue eyes and brown hair, while he holds out his hands mid-pose. The Swedish princess last shared pictures of her baby son on Facebook during their vacation in the Maldives.

It was in January that Madeleine posted the pictures on Facebook. Royal fans commented that the little boy is growing up fast and that he has become more handsome. During the beginning of the year, the family-of-four spent some downtime relaxing at the Soneva Fushi resort in the Maldives.

Earlier, just before Christmas, the mother-of-two shared a cute picture of Nicolas’ first meeting with Father Christmas or Santa Claus. The toddler looked adorable sitting on the lap of Santa Claus as he gazed at the camera. Both he and Santa sat on a sledge with a Christmas tree in the background.

Nicolas was born on June 15 in Sweden. Press officer Margareta Thorgren at that time said the baby weighed 3,080 grams, measured 49 centimetres and had his father Chris O’Neill’s chin. The doting father also said that Leonore thought Nicolas was a doll. The couple with their two kids relocated to London last year due to Chris’ job responsibilities.
