It seems that Prince Philip has made a new friend in Hollywood.

The Duke of Edinburgh hosted a dinner Wednesday to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Outward Bound charity, and fellow charity supporter and actor Tom Cruise attended the Buckingham Palace dinner.

Upon their meeting, Cruise and Philip exchanged a warm greeting and the actor even appeared to look a little star-struck. Cruise has been a longtime supporter of Outward Bound, which helps to educate and better youth through outdoor activities. Likewise, Philip has been a supporter of the Outward Bound trust since 1999.

On the schedule for Thursday, Queen Elizabeth II and Philip attended a “Service of Dedication on Horse Guards Parade,” according to the Royal Diary. The queen unveiled a new Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial located in Victoria Embankment Gardens.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the event as well and spoke with military and civilian personnel, according to the Royal Family’s Twitter feed.

Prince Harry was also in attendance (the monarch served in Afghanistan in 2007 and in 2012), and even spoke during the event, recounting his own service time:

“From learning the hard way to stay onside with my Colour Sergeant at [military academy] Sandhurst, to the incredible people I served with during two tours in Afghanistan – the experiences I have had over the last 10 years will stay with me for the rest of my life,” Harry said via People. “Inevitable most good things come to an end and I am at a crossroads in my military career.”

The British royal has kept a busy schedule with his more recent flame. Harry has made headlines since the news of his relationship with American “Suits” actress Meghan Markle broke. The pair have dated for about a year now.

The couple even recently jetted off to Jamaica to celebrate the wedding of mutual friends.
