Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth, has been taken to hospital with a bladder infection, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.

Philip, who is also the Duke of Edinburgh, is 90-years-old and had treatment for blocked coronary arteries last December.

The development comes amid the celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.
