Mayte Garcia, the ex-wife of late pop star Prince, has been added to the lineup for the Prince Tribute concert in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The concert set to take place Thursday will feature a series of performances to honor the “Purple Rain” singer, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.

Tickets for the tribute show immediately sold out following the ticket release Sept. 19. The concert is set to take place at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center and it’s sure to be quite the event. The performance lineup includes Stevie Wonder, Tori Kelly, Christina Aguilera, Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls and Ana Moura, a Portuguese fado singer who would appear in Prince’s international performances. Andre Cymone, Prince’s former bandmate, will also attend.

Mayte Garcia’s appearance at the concert is fitting, as the former back-up dancer was said to have inspired Prince’s legendary hits “Kiss” and “Purple Rain.”

“I’ve dated a couple guys, musicians, who have written me poems or songs and I’m like, ‘Seriously, don’t even go there. You can’t compete!” Garcia had said during an interview with The Mirror.

Garcia dated the singer for four years, and the two met when she was 16 in Germany. Prince hired Garcia as a backup dancer for the megastar’s Diamonds and Pearls Tour, and the couple later married in 1996 when Garcia was 22. Prince and Garcia had one son together, Boy Gregory, who was born with Pfeiffer syndrome and died after one week after his birth, according to People. The couple’s marriage was annulled in 1999 and they divorced in 2000.

Garcia later joined the cast of the VH1 reality show “Hollywood Exes” from 2012 through 2014. In her profile interview for the first season of the show, Garcia stated, “I can’t really pinpoint a time when it became romantic, I just think it evolved from the heavens.”
