Prince William attended another royal engagement after sharing the stage with Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the first Royal Foundation Forum.

On Thursday, the Duke of Cambridge introduced the Heads Together workplace wellbeing initiative in partnership with Mind Charity. For the event, Prince William joined a roundtable discussion about the current workplace mental health, landscape and research.

In addition, Middleton's husband gave a speech about work and mental health. The Duke discussed how one's profession could be a source of stress by sharing his own experiences as a pilot and how taking mental health seriously made a difference in their line of work.

"Everyone in this room knows that while work can provide a great sense of fulfillment, it can - at times - be a significant source of stress and negatively impact our mental health," Prince William said.

"For me, this is personal. I worked in a job as an air ambulance pilot quite recently where along with my colleagues I dealt with traumatic and stressful situations. But in my place of work, mental health was taken very seriously," the Duke continued. "We could be open about our experiences and could support our colleagues when they needed it, including very thorough debriefs. We knew how to talk about pressure and knew where to direct each other for help."

Prince William stressed the importance of mental health. During his speech at the Royal Foundation forum on Wednesday, the Duke said that only two percent of the people go to HR (Human Resources) to open up about their mental health issues.

"We've got to really do something about mental health and the workplace as well," Prince William said.

Meanwhile, the forum was Markle's first official engagement with the royal trio. For the event, the future royal talked about the Time's Up movement.

"Women don't need to find their voice, they need to feel empowered to use it and people need to be encouraged to listen," Markle said. "Right now with so many campaigns, Me Too and Time's Up, there is no better time to really continue to shine a light on women feeling empowered and people really helping to support them, men included in that."

Meanwhile, Middleton visited the National Portrait Gallery exhibition after their joint engagement. The Duchess of Cambridge is the patron of the gallery and is a self-confessed "enthusiastic amateur photographer."
