Before leaving Canada, the Duke William and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the zoo and were given a royal send off at Rotary Challenger Park on Friday.

Sported Calgary's iconic white cowboy hat, Prince William delivered his final speech of the Canadian tour, vowing that he and the princess will be back to experience more of the beautiful country, thanking Canadians that the couple's tour exceeded all their expectations with the diversity of the nation.

After wrapping up their Canadian visit from June 30 to July 8, the royals touched down in Los Angeles at about 4 p.m. PST to begin their first visit as a married couple to the U.S. The couple is on a royal tour of California from July 8 to July 10.
