A few weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, officially tied the knot, the newlyweds are now off on their honeymoon.

On Tuesday, the Palace confirmed, via People Magazine, that the couple headed off for their romantic honeymoon.

The couple have asked for their privacy to be respected during their honeymoon, a spokesperson said. We are not confirming and we are not commenting on speculation on where they may be going on their private honeymoon, we are just confirming that they have gone.

While the palace wouldn't confirm the destination of their vacation, British newspapers are reporting that Prince William and Kate Middleton have gone to Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Africa.

They slipped out of the country very quietly, they didn't want a fuss, an unnamed royal insider told the Mirror. According to the report the couple flew by private jet.

The Telegraph is quoting a Seychelles department of tourism spokeswoman as saying that the royal couple landed at 7:20 local time Tuesday morning.

There are 115 islands in the Seychelles, which will make it difficult for paparazzi to find the couple.
