At the Princess Grace Awards Gala in New York, Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived accompanied by Prince Albert II dressed in a sleeveless Christian Dior gown.

To complement her gown, the Princess wore a pair of delicate earrings along with defined eye makeup.

Also present at the occasion were actress Anne Hathaway, models Selita Ebanks and Petra Nemcova, actress Julie Andrews, Olivia Palermo and singers Martha and Rufus Wainwright.

The Princess Grace Foundation-U.S.A. was established to identify and assist emerging talent in theater, dance and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships and fellowships.

A special moment during the event was the introduction of a tribute to Julie Andrews, who received the Prince Rainier III Award.

Well, I'm very honored to be given an award this evening and it's a fabulous opportunity to speak about the importance of the arts and it being a big, big part of our culture because without it we'd be a very sorry place indeed, NDTV quoted the iconic Sound of Music star stating.
