Princess Charlotte’s name is now associated with a lipstick shade “Charlotte.” Designer Marc Jacobs announced that a pink color lipstick has been named after the nine-month-old royal. Named after the daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William, the lipstick shade is part of the Marc Jacobs Beauty.

The new lipstick was launched in London on Friday. It was announced that the latest shade from the Le Marc Lip Crème collection is named after the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. “We wanted to commemorate this major brand milestone by creating a custom shade of Le Marc Lip Crème,” said Catherine Gore, global vice president and general manager of Marc Jacobs Beauty.

The new lipstick shade created in honor of the baby princess was inspired by the English rose. Named "Charlotte," the lipstick celebrates the toddler’s complexion. The shade is currently available exclusively at British departmental store Harrods. It is priced at 24 pounds ($34).

The products from Marc Jacobs Beauty have found a place at the iconic window displays at Harrods. The windows at Harrods are lined up with huge sized versions of the products with lots of opportunities for selfies. The windows will be open for the entire month of February.

Mia Collins, the head of Harrods beauty said that they had never done cosmetics on their windows earlier. She added that they were pleased and happy that the American designer and his team allowed them to make history with the window displays. Collins said that they had lots of expectations from Marc Jacobs’ new line, adding that there is excitement for the new line as well.

Collins said that at Harrods, they wanted to give their clients the chance to understand and delve deep into the “Mr. Jacobs’ universe.” Apart from Marc Jacobs’ exclusive stores, the designer’s new ready-to-wear collection will also be available at Harrods.
