Princess Estelle of Sweden turned four on Tuesday. To celebrate the birthday of the little princess, the Royal Place of Sweden released two new official portraits of the little princess. Estelle is the daughter of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden.
The picture released by the palace shows Estelle wearing a white frock. The tea dress features long ruffled three-quarter sleeves and a Peter Pan collar. It also has blue borders on the sleeves, collar and waist.
The little princess pairs her look with matching knee-high socks and black patent shoes with buckles. Taken at her parents’ home in the Haga Palace, one image shows Estelle sitting on a chair while smiling away broadly. Her blonde hair is tied back and her hands clasped on her lap, the princess looks angelic as she celebrates her special day.
In the second picture Estelle, titled the Duchess of Ӧstergötland, stands on the chair and holds hands with her proud parents who are behind her. Prince Daniel looks smart in a gray blazer and pale blue shirt. He pairs it with blue jeans and a pale blue pocket square.
Princess Victoria, who is pregnant with her second child, looks chic in a white shirt worn underneath a matching coat. She keeps her blossoming baby bump concealed from view as she stands behind her daughter. Victoria glows with health and accessorizes with drop earrings. Her long brunette tresses are pulled back tightly into a ponytail.
The pictures were shared by the palace on its Facebook page and website. It attracted a number of birthday messages from well-wishers. Even Princess Madeleine of Sweden took to Facebook and wished her little neice "Happy Birthday" from her daughter Leonore. On Saturday, Estelle’s cousin Princess Leonore celebrated her second birthday with a traditional tea party.
Besides, to celebrate her last birthday as the only child of her parents, a stamp will be released on March 17.
Meanwhile, Victoria who is expected to give birth to her and Daniel’s second child in March cancelled her Name Day engagement on March 12. She is currently spending time with her young family and enjoying maternity leave. She will reportedly give birth to the baby in her home.
Besides, her sister-in-law Princess Sofia is also pregnant with her and Prince Carl Philip’s first child. She is due to give birth in April.
